Biography and Mission
Cats have always been dear to me.  When I lost "Milton" at age nine, I cried on his grave.  I wanted him back so bad.

At age sixteen, I had the good fortune of moving to Sierra Leone, West Africa (Land of the Lion).  While I always liked the looks of the large wild cats, I was fortunate to be given a tiny feral cat from a Peace Corps volunteer who was returning to the States.  "Freaky" was not at all like the American cats.  She had huge bat ears, was very small in stature and her fur was "gray-black" and very mottled.  She was a wonderful companion . . . very affectionate with a loud purr and a loving heart.

I showed a Brown Tabby Persion in my twenties, named Minilcin's Magnolia Simms.  She was extraordinary and won "best kitten" and lots of blue ribbons.  Through her, I learned insight to other breeds and joined a cat club in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

I moved to California, and after my two boys were grown up, I learned of the Bengal.  This was a Leopard-cat that one could hold.  I was hooked.

Having Bengals around me gives me peace, companionship, and a never ending appreciation for their beauty.

This website is dedicated to sharing the Bengal Cat with you.  Peace!
